Celebrating the 150th Anniversary of the Methodist Campgrounds

with various historical activities

Our beautiful, wooded, Old Methodist Campground will again be the site of our annual Festival of the Arts!  We are planning continuous entertainment and other attractions during this day-long sale of Arts and Crafts.  Please read the following information COMPLETELY, it is VERY IMPORTANT!!

Application Process:

  • Returning vendors from the previous year: you may have last year’s space (or similar) IF your application is received by June 1st and MUST include your Space # (located on your envelope). Any space not claimed by June 1st, will be released and assigned to another vendor.
  • First time vendors: Please include your craft photo(s). For returned photos please send an SASE.
  • All vendors may make space requests based on location, parking, etc. Applications are processed first come first serve.

The earlier an application is received, the better the chances are of fulfilling your request.

  • Advance registration is required and SPACES WILL BE ASSIGNED – NO ENTRY AT THE DOOR!!
  • Exhibitor ID’s, check-in, setup & parking instructions will be mailed by APPROXIMATELY June 1st.

Space Information

  • The festival is held outdoors. (At times it may drizzle or be windy, etc. Please be prepared for any weather that may affect YOUR booth, but not whether we cancel the show. A light drizzle is not a show stopper for us, but if you sell a paper craft, it is for you.)
  • Spaces are 12 ft. wide X 15 ft. deep
  • Exhibitors must provide their own tables and chairs and no electrical outlets are available.

Cost:

  • $45.00/space – NO parking IN space (Exhibitor parking is in a festival adjacent designated area)
  • $50/Space – WITH parking IN space

General Festival Information & Requirements:

  • YOU MUST SIGN YOUR APPLICATION FORM or your application and payment will be returned to you as NOT ACCEPTED.  Only completed and signed applications will be considered for acceptance to this event.
  • Unsigned applications will result in a significant delay in your application process.
  • Exhibitors MUST BE artists or Craftsmen displaying their OWN work.
  • We reserve the right to limit the number of a given category of craft.  Maximum exhibitor capacity is 150.
  • Exhibitors must have current liability insurance coverage for all personal possessions, wares and all acts pertaining to the rental of your space at this event. Vendor will also hold the church harmless from any and all claims, causes of action and damages of every type and nature whatsoever.
  • Festival is held at United Methodist Church Campground, located in New Lenox on US Route 30, 1 mile east of Interstate 80, exit 137.
  • You MAY NOT leave the Festival early.  Moving vehicles are not allowed in the exhibit area before 4:15 p.m.!!  Police WILL TICKET any vehicle that is driving through or blocking an Emergency Vehicle lane during Festival hours.

PAYMENT INFORMATION (Be sure to fill out the application below!)

Each space is $45 without parking and $50 with parking in the space.  You can pay in person at the church, Monday through Friday, from 9 AM – 3 PM or make an online payment via Pushpay. Please add a $2 convenience fee for all Pushpay transactions, so Pushpay totals will be $47 per space without parking and $52 per space with parking.
