UMCNL, a vibrant faith community, located within the New Lenox Historic Methodist Campground, has celebrated its 181st anniversary and is shaping a future where we work to transform the world because our lives have been transformed by Jesus Christ.
If you are looking for a place where your life can be better or where you can help the world be a better place, then join us at the United Methodist Church of New Lenox. We make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

We also hold a Healing and Anointing Service at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel on the 2nd Sunday of the month from September through May that includes hymns, prayers, scripture readings, reflections, individual prayers, laying on of hands, and anointing with oil for people suffering pain, broken relationships, difficult times, grief and other loss.

Our next DivorceCare group to start on Tuesday, September 13th from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and will continue for 13 weeks here at the church in our downstairs Conference Room. This group is for those going through/struggling with divorce. The videos and discussions are Bible based and inspiring for all those going through this difficult process. Anyone can join in at any given week, as each session is a self-contained learning experience and does not require having been there from session one to experience the help it provides those going through the difficulties of divorce. Those that join in part way through the session are welcome to return during the next 13-week group for the session that they have missed. We even have a few people that have come for more one 13-week group just for the support they experience here and to review what they have learned earlier.
Go to DivorceCare.com for more info.
United Methodist Church of New Lenox Cancer Support group meets on the second Monday of the month from 6:30 to 8 p.m. This group is for those who have cancer or have a loved one with cancer. All are welcome. The church is located at 339 West Haven. The group meets downstairs in the Mary Philips Library. For more information, call 815-485-8271.
